Boutique Hotel d'Oude Morsch is an 18-room hotel set in the former 1817 guardhouse of the Morspoort barracks, at the edge of Leiden's historic centre. Original wooden beams and oak floors meet a relaxed, contemporary interior, with each room individually decorated. Guests enjoy views over a city park, an old windmill, and the historic Morspoort gate, plus a canal-side terrace. Museums, restaurants, shops, and the train station are all within walking distance. Enjoy a very warm welcome by the staff with their favourite tips for Leiden at check-in. Breakfast is served at the table on a platter. Breakfast is also available for guests from outside of the hotel, by reservation. Lunch is served daily from 11:30 and 16:00hr. High tea's are available daily by reservation. After the reception closes hotel guests can grab a drink and snack from the honesty bar.
